Under the careful production guidance of Philadelphia International masterminds Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, these two albums remain genre benchmarks from an unprecedented age of progressive soul music which saw Paul go head to head with Isaac Hayes, Al Green, the Temptations and Marvin Gaye.
