Product Description
After Leroy Hutson (Mayfield's replacement) left the band, the two remaining members entered the studio to record "Preacher Man". All Music says "the result, instead of a threadbare effort by a reduced lineup, was something new and amazingly bold". It was successful as well, reaching #31 on the charts. The Impressions recruited two new vocalists for "Finally Got Myself Together", and the result was a smooth Philly-soul sound that instantly clicked with their fans. The album produced two hit singles, including the #1 smash "Changed Man (Finally Got Myself Together)".
